values

we value god's word

We believe that God's Word is our authority for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1-14; 14:6)

we value the family

At SBC we value the family. We want to come alongside your family and your marriage to be all that God created it to be. (Ephesians 5:22-6:4, Proverbs 22:6)

we value community

Life is better in community. We believe that we is better than me. Our hope is that every person at SBC would be part of a small group and take part in community. (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, Hebrews 3:12-13)

we value next steps

Every follower of Christ is on a spiritual journey. God is calling us to take next steps, to follow Christ in obedience. (John 10:10, Mark 4:34; 8:35, Ephesians 2:10)

Section Title

we value lost sheep

Every person has a person in their life that is closest to them and yet furthest from God. This person is our Lost Sheep, the one we pray to come to know Christ daily. (Luke 15:1-15, Acts 4:20, John 1:41)

we value giving cheerfully and SACRIFICIALLY

At SBC we believe that we should be giving cheerfully and sacrificially to the cause of Christ. (2 Corinthians 9:12-13, Titus 3:14, Acts 20:35)

we value serving locally and globally

God has gifted each one us with different gifts and talents. At SBC, we believe that we should use those gifts to serve the world and the local church. (Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8)

we believe gods grace can overcome

There is nothing in your life that God's grace can not over come. We believe at SBC that you are welcome just the way you are, and God's grace can overcome your past. (2 Corinthians 12:9; 5:17-19, 1 Timothy 1:15-16)
